We are older, and our most important issue was finding a single story townhouse that would fit our needs, both current and anticipated. She didn't offer unsolicited advice, but often saw negative aspects of a potential home that I hadn’t noticed. Susan played an active role in helping us to determine what to offer for the townhouse we ultimately bought. Her skill at negotiating saved us a substantial amount of money. Susan was also extremely helpful in referring other people to work on our purchase. We are new to Illinois and she offered, although not aggressively, to help us find an attorney and a handyman.
